Denim....an American staple, a wardrobe must-have. Now that the temps are finally cooling down a bit, we are super excited to start incorporating more denim into our daily outfits (not that we weren't before...chambray and jean shorts were two of our summer go-to's). We were thrilled to spot some of our denim essentials in this article, written by Michelle Pimm and styled by Cristina Facundo, in the Austin-American Statesman:

"This fall, denim is anything but basic. Thanks to fashion-forward designs, textures such as frayed edges and distressed patchwork give you and instant edge. Hot Off The Press: Austin Woman September 2013

September issues are always our favorite of the year....aside from usually being the size of a phonebook, the thick glossy pages are chock full of delicious fall fashions, which can only mean one thing: we will soon get a much needed break from the zillion degree heat. We were super excited when we finished unpacking our new fall arrivals at the store, and had a few moments to page through the September issue of Austin Woman. To our delight, lots of Maya Star goodies were gracing the fall fashion special.
